MEET YOUR MIDWIFE
Hi, I’m Latasha (she/her)
I am a Milwaukee, WI-based Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) with a passion for inclusive care. As a queer & black midwife and parent, I know firsthand how the traditional healthcare settings often exclude LGBTQ+ and BIPOC persons. My practice is inclusive and respectful to all.
Sacred Waters Midwifery believes everyone deserves high-quality, safe care across fertility, pregnancy, childbirth, and primary health.
I’m here to provide guidance and support while you remain at the center of every decision—heard, respected, and fully in charge of your care.
Kind Words for Sacred Waters
“I could not have asked for a more wonderful home midwife for my IUI than Tasha. She was not just queer friendly but queer affirming, focused, and thoughtful. I have significant trauma surrounding pregnancy and she made the entire process smooth and easy, was always quick to respond, and incredibly thoughtful in all our interactions. The IUI process itself was smooth and easy. She traveled to us from quite a distance to provide us with care and we are so grateful. And to put the cherry on top, we got a positive pregnancy test our very first try. I would recommend Tasha to anyone needing a Midwife.”

We were so lucky to have Tasha as my midwife, but also to be able to take her evidence-based birthing class. I truly felt so prepared and confident going into labor because of her. I especially loved how she included my husband and got him involved. He didn’t just sit there awkwardly; he actually learned what to do and how to support me, which made such a difference.
