MEET YOUR MIDWIFE
Hi, I’m Latasha (she/her)
I am a Milwaukee, WI based Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) with a passion for inclusive care. As a queer & black midwife and parent, I know firsthand how the traditional healthcare settings often exclude LGBTQ+ and BIPOC persons. My practice is inclusive and respectful to all.
Sacred Waters Midwifery believes everyone deserves high-quality, safe care especially when going through the very personal, sacred journey of fertility and childbirth. I’m here to make sure you know all of your options, are heard, and respected through your journey into parenthood.
Kind Words for Sacred Waters
“I could not have asked for a more wonderful home midwife for my IUI than Tasha. She was not just queer friendly but queer affirming, focused, and thoughtful. I have significant trauma surrounding pregnancy and she made the entire process smooth and easy, was always quick to respond, and incredibly thoughtful in all our interactions. The IUI process itself was smooth and easy. She traveled to us from quite a distance to provide us with care and we are so grateful. And to put the cherry on top, we got a positive pregnancy test our very first try. I would recommend Tasha to anyone needing a Midwife.”
“She was so Amazing and Sweet! I wish I could clone her to be my primary doctor lol she's answered all my questions plus More! She did a Outstanding job!”
“I had a great visit with Latasha Brown! She listened to my concerns and made me feel comfortable. I cannot thank her enough and feel lucky to have seen her.”
